Nicolas Ghesquière's architectural journey continues throughout Cruise 2020...
Cruise 2020 is just around the corner and a slew of fashion labels have already revealed where they'll be taking the fash pack next season. Gucci has announced that they'll be staying local and will showcase at one of the most prominent landmarks in Rome. Chloé will be staging their show in Shanghai (marking the first time the brand presents a runway show outside of Paris). And Chanel has decided to stay put in Paris this season.
Now, another luxury name has been added to the list.
After previous shows held in Monaco, Brazil, Japan and Paris, Louis Vuitton will be taking the fash pack to New York for Cruise 2020.
Coinciding with Nicolas Ghesquière's fascination with architectural structures, the journey will continue at one of the world's most imaginative and iconic airport terminals, the TWA Flight Center. The show location (although not open to the public until May 15th, 2019) perfectly coincides with the maison's commitment to travel (think its Art of Travel series) and the 200,000-square-foot winged masterpiece will provide the perfect backdrop.
Marking the first time an event will be staged as the restored landmark, we're certain Louis Vuitton will deliver another unbelievable show.
