Favoured fashion house extends its outreach

In a bid to make the world a better place, Louis Vuitton has announced a new collaboration with the global humanitarian giant United Nations Children's Fund, to help raise funds for children in need across the world.

The brand's commitment to UNICEF, in a three year partnership, is to devote itself to raise awareness and funds to aid children in need across 190 countries who have been victims of violence, disease, malnutrition and to those who have lost families in natural disasters. Supporting their philanthropic project is Louis Vuitton's special pendant and bracelet as a part of the #makeapromise digital campaign. The house asks consumers to “seal the promise with a silver lockit” of which $200 goes directly to the charity.

"The Silver Lockit is also a token of our promise to help children in urgent need. Our 20,000 staff members have joined forces to generate strong ideas to raise funds and awareness for these children. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible, ask them to share our promise and to make a real difference" announced chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, Michael Burke in a recent statement.
