Kim Jones and Fendi have parted ways. The British designer had been artistic director of Fendi since 2020 and was responsible for women's haute couture and ready-to-wear collections. The remaining structure at the House is unchanged, with Delfina Delettrez in charge of jewellery design and Silvia Venturini Fendi continuing on as creative director of menswear, childrenswear and accessories.

“Kim Jones is a highly talented designer who has brought his unique and multicultural vision to Fendi over the past four years," said Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, in a statement. The new artistic director will be announced in due time.

Kim Jones has held the position of artistic director of menswear at Dior since departing Louis Vuitton in 2018; it now becomes his full-time role (unless the industry offers another switch-up). This year has seen unprecedented movement across fashion Houses - Virginie Viard departed Chanel, Dries Van Noten stepped back from his eponymous label, Haider Ackermann moved to Tom Ford and Hedi Slimane left Celine. What will happen next? Only time will tell.
