Saint Laurent's new denim campaign is here and the bohemian-meets-rock'n'roll vibe is still going strong...
During Paris Fashion Week, Saint Laurent revealed an ’80s-inspired collection for Fall/Winter ’19 and it eventually turned into the ultimate rave with flashing lightbulbs, infinity mirrors, a black light and neon silhouettes.
Whilst we’re all familiar with key cuts from the era – think big shoulders, sequined embroideries, polka-dot tights and denim – it’s evident that the French fashion house resonates with the ‘80s.
Case in point: Saint Laurent have just revealed a new campaign, entirely dedicated to its denim offering.
The monochrome campaign follows the art direction of Anthony Vaccarello, as he puts the spotlight on all things denim – think vests, slim trousers, bomber jackets and shorts.
Captured through the lens of Gray Sorrenti, models including Kaia Gerber, Simona Kust, Mads Mullin and Dakota Lindvall fronted the collection.
The Cindy Crawford-offspring was giving us major Coachella vibes with her washed-out denim shorts, studded headband and black leather jacket (your next outfit inspo, perhaps?).
