Moschino is known for its tongue-in-cheek collections, pop culture references and whimsical accessories, and its humorous approach comes courtesy of creative director Jeremy Scott, who has carried on the legacy of founder Franco Moschino for a decade. On 20 March, the American designer took to Instagram to announce his departure from the Italian House. In an emoji-scattered caption (because, what else would you expect from Moschino's mastermind?) Jeremy wrote: "After ten years I am announcing today that I will be leaving Moschino. I've had a blast creating designs that will live on forever. I am grateful for all the love and support i've received over this past decade. As I close this chapter I am filled with excitement and anticipation and can't wait to share with you all what I have in store for you next!"

The high-drama collections continued Moschino's mission to remind the world that fashion is ultimately meant to be fun. With handbags replicating ice buckets, McDonald's Happy Meals, milk bottles and teddy bears; gowns with framed photographs of George Clooney's face; and dresses with built-in rubber rings; we would have to say that is mission accomplished.
