The mixing of kindred souls is no more evident than in Dover Street Market’s relationship with Burberry. Not only did the avant garde London store find a new home in the building that was erected by Thomas Burberry; Rei Kawakubo, founder of DSM will now be re-imagining a select number of Burberry weatherproof coats, exclusive to the Haymarket store. 20 original Burberry coats will also be displayed in-store in a space inspired by Burberry’s heritage of protection against the elements, featuring mirrored puddles and paper clouds.
Rei Kawakubo for Burberry will be available exclusively at Dover Street Market in Haymarket, London later this year.
