A series of pop-up stores have opened around the world to celebrate Loro Piana's denim capsule collection, Loro Denim, and, lucky for us, one of the locations is Dubai Mall. Located in the mall's Fashion Avenue, the pop-up offers a chance to get up-close and personal with the collection and explore the innovation behind the pieces. One such innovation is CashDenim, a rare cotton-cashmere blend. Elsewhere, Loro Denim utilises organic, ultra-soft Californian cotton across workwear staples; Chambray Cash, a cotton-cashmere blend exclusively developed in Japan; and CashDenim Reactive, which sees garments treated with a solid blue dye that doesn't release any indigo.
Loro Piana's signature silhouettes - namely the André shirt and the Traveller, Spagna and Mini Spagna jackets - are treated in these exclusive denims and are available in limited quantities, while a selection of bags and shoes are rendered in Denim Flower to ensure a nine-to-five wardrobe that works as hard as you do.
The pop-up is (naturally) reminiscent of a denim workshop, evoking an atelier with rolls of fabrics adorning the walls alongside the House's signature pared-back palette. Until 15 September, Dubai Mall.
