A Forest Wonderland: Harvey Nichols – Dubai Debuts Its Luxurious Festive Collections

'Tis the season! Harvey Nichols - Dubai celebrates the festive season with a must-have edit for all the family

This holiday season, Harvey Nichols - Dubai is rewriting the festive playbook. Nestled in an enchanting forest-meets-wonderland aesthetic, the store has unveiled a collection that oozes drama, sophistication and flair for women, men and even the little ones. Think flickering candles, secret wish lists and winter florals brought to life with bold prints and metallic finishes.

Maximalism takes the crown this year. The womenswear edit features scene-stealing maxi dresses like Richard Quinn’s velvet gown and Oscar de la Renta’s ombré peony sequinned kaftan. Winter florals make a strong case, with painterly prints in moody tones adorned with sequins, like the Ulla Johnson hand-crochet mosaic dress. It’s evoking a couture garden party in the middle of winter - and we’re here for it.

Two colours are having a major moment this season: electric royal blue and the rich, decadent tones of burgundy. Solace London’s River cape dress is the ultimate head-turner for her, while the King & Tuckfield textured panel cardigan in vanilla and powder blue is a chic pick for him. For little ones, Molo’s butterfly knit jumper brings an adorable dose of whimsy.

Meanwhile, burgundy offers a deep alternative to neutrals, perfect for tailored looks or statement accents. Victoria Beckham’s chic trousers paired with a vinyl cropped jacket by Courrèges deliver a masterclass in high-glam minimalism. Finish it off with The Row leather pumps and Alaïa’s vienne wave tote bag for pure sophistication.

Outerwear-wise, elongated silhouettes are the style of the season. Dries Van Noten’s double-breasted wool coat and Fear of God’s high-neck trench coat are made for layering over everything from date-night fits to city strolls. Accessories lean luxe, with oversized suede bags like JW Anderson’s leather tote and Alexander McQueen sneakers taking the casual look to the next level.

Why should the grown-ups have all the fun? Dolce & Gabbana’s tulle-lined dress and ballerina shoes are made to light up the dance floor - or your festive family portrait. Add Self-Portrait’s embellished mini bag for extra sparkle.
