Mark your calendars. Gucci have locked in a date for their upcoming Cruise '20 showcase...
It's official. Now that Fashion Month is over, the world is currently waiting to see what coveted brands are serving up for Cruise '20. The first of what will soon be a string of location reveals, Gucci has announced where their show will be taking place.
For Cruise '20, the luxury brand is shifting away from destination spots and instead, have chosen to stay local.
Set to take place in Italy (or more specifically, the capital), the Cruise '20 showcase will unfold at the Capitoline Museums – one of the most prominent landmarks in Rome. With a backdrop that displays a large number of ancient Roman statues and Renaissance art, can you imagine how Insta-worthy the space will be?
The location has been chosen as a result of Alessandro Michele's fascination with the old world. Plus, it draws a place reminiscent of the Creative Director's childhood.
With enough to strongly influence the forthcoming collection, we can expect great things (as per usual).
