Designers Of Tomorrow: FTA 2024 Announces Finalists

Reaching the final stretch of the FTA Prize 2024 are three finalists across six categories who will be will be competing for financial grants

Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) returns this October for its sixth edition, spotlighting the region's emerging designers

Excitement is building for the FTA Prize awards ceremony taking place in October and the finalists have officially been announced. Reaching the final stretch of the FTA Prize 2024 are 18 finalists across six categories which include Ready-to-Wear, Jewellery and the latest addition, Fashion Tech. The regional talents, competing for financial grants between $100,000 and $200,000, are also in with a chance of receiving guidance from reputable designers, including a year-long mentorship with The Bicester Collection. And to top it off, winners in the Eveningwear, Ready-to-Wear, Accessories and Jewellery categories are granted the opportunity to showcase their collections at Harrods for an entire season.

Highlighting the importance of fostering a global design community, this edition of Fashion Trust Arabia will also have a Guest Country Partnership with Spain. The four selected Spanish designers will present their collections to the special jury alongside regional artists during the event. Having successfully collaborated with Columbia, Turkey and Nigeria for the Guest Country Award since its inception in 2021, the partnerships have become an important part of the annual event.

Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Fashion Trust Arabia fosters budding designers in the MENA region, bringing them to the forefront of the industry. This year, the FTA Prize will be taking place in Marrakech as part of the Qatar Morocco 2024 Year of Culture. Learn more.
