Nojoud chats to MOJEH about her Ramadan wardrobe and how she'll be spending the Holy Month.
I don't have a specific brand. I am looking for items that are suitable for Ramadan in general. What I love about Ramadan fashion is its resemblance with Bohemian and summer outfits in a modest way, making brands like Zimmerman, Emilio Pucci, Johanna Ortiz and Giambattista Valli suitable for Ramadan as well as the day-to-day. I love having pieces that I can wear over and over again for multiple occasions and seasons.
My style is often classic, however I love to give it a twist and make it more expressive. Therefore, if i’d go all out in colours usually the cut or silhouette would remain very classy and vice versa.
Accessories complete the look and make it very interesting and unique. However, they can also take the focus completely off the outfit, so I usually prefer softer accessories with playful looks and wear more of a statement piece with subtle looks in order to create balance.
Spending uninterrupted time with my family and people I care about the most, enjoying meals that are only cooked during the Holy Month, and definitely wearing outfits that express the beauty and spirit of Ramadan. Shop the Mytheresa Ramadan edit here
