Fashion Trust Arabia hosted its fourth annual FTA Prize in Doha, Qatar last night, with celebrities and VIPs from near and far joining the festivities. Actress Jodie Turner-Smith presented the awards alongside comedian Nemr Abou Nassar, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Honorary Chair of Fashion Trust Arabia; Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums and Co-Chair of FTA; and Founder Tania Fares. Her Highness presented the award for eveningwear. A panel of world-renowned designers and tastemakers selected six winners from 24 finalists across ready-to-wear, accessories, eveningwear, jewellery, the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award and the Guest Country Award in partnership with Turkiye. Each winner will receive a financial prize of up to $200,000 as well as mentorship programmes with FTA sponsors including MatchesFashion.com and Harrods.
