We take a look at the sudden influx of designers revealing exclusively Middle Eastern capsule collections

The luxurious side of fashion is an element embedded into the very essence of Dubai, so it’s no wonder that fashion designers are flocking to the cultural hub of the Middle East with exclusive designs for the stylish Emirati woman.

Dubai has already seen personalised collections from Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford, and last week Moroccan-born Alber Elbaz’s first visit to the UAE marked another exciting fashion-first. The artistic director of Lanvin brought with him an exclusive capsule collection created with the Middle Eastern woman in mind - full of elegantly flowing gowns, embroidered jackets and fringing - autumn/winter is sure to be the most elegant season of 2015.

With fashion revelations becoming the norm, another elegant Parisian designer has arrived. Chloé has opened a pop-up shop in Bloomingdale's, Dubai Mall, with four limited edition styles of the brand’s iconic ‘Drew’ bag. The new concept comes in a range of materials and soft feminine shades offering a contemporary twist to the delicate saddlebag. Up until 25th April the world’s biggest shopping mall will also offer homage to key spring/summer looks in celebration of the success of Chloé’s ultimate accessory.

The most recent announcement to emerge from Level Shoe District - the world’s largest shoe store - is the opening of Rupert Sanderson’s pop-up shop housing the 24-carat gold-leafed shoe capsule collection. The 14 exclusive designs in luxurious satin and jewel tones are inspired by the British designer’s ‘Gold Pebble’ collection, blending with Middle Eastern style seamlessly for vibrant summer style. ‘This is a place that allows you to be indulgent and luxurious,’ Sanderson said about Dubai. ‘Shopping and fashion are so much a part of people’s lives here. The mall is open until midnight; even I want to shop here’.
