The finalists have officially been announced...

As the fashion industry navigates an era shaped by artificial intelligence, a new generation of designers is reaffirming the value of craftsmanship and personal storytelling. The 2025 LVMH Prize finalists are proof of that shift.

Launched in 2013, the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers has become a benchmark for identifying the next wave of global talent. Offering €300,000 and a year-long mentorship by LVMH’s executives, the Prize is designed to fast-track creative brands into viable, future-facing businesses.

Beyond the Grand Prize, the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and a Graduate Prize also provide crucial support for emerging voices at different stages of their journeys.

Who Are the 2025 Finalists?

This year’s finalists, selected by a panel of industry experts and a public vote, demonstrate a heightened focus on artisanal skills, tailored silhouettes, and deeply personal design narratives - a response, in part, to the growing influence of generative AI across the creative industries.

The eight finalists are:

Steve O Smith (UK)

Tolu Coker (UK)

Torishéju by Torishéju Dumi (UK)

Alainpaul by Alain Paul (France)

All-In by Benjamin Barron and Bror August Vestbø (USA/Norway, based in Paris)

Zomer by Danial Aitouganov (Netherlands, based in Paris)

Soshiotsuki by Soshi Otsuki (Japan)

Francesco Murano (Italy)

While the broader pool of semi-finalists included first-time entrants from Egypt, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia, the final selection skews towards established creative hubs - with London and Paris particularly well-represented.

The finalists will present their work during the final event, set for September 3 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.

A Platform for Global Talent

Past winners - including Marine Serre, Thebe Magugu, and Nensi Dojaka, have gone on to reshape the industry’s creative and business landscape.

The LVMH Prize’s combination of financial backing and mentorship offers designers rare access to expertise spanning product development, supply chain management, marketing, and sustainability strategies.

In a competitive landscape where brand-building requires both creative distinction and business resilience, the Prize remains a powerful catalyst for success.

What's Next

The 2025 winners will be announced following interviews and deliberations by the Prize’s jury, made up of leading designers and executives across the LVMH portfolio.

As the global fashion market continues to evolve, the LVMH Prize spotlights the voices set to define its next chapter - and this year, craftsmanship, authenticity, and human touch are firmly at the forefront. Learn more
