Dolce & Gabbana will present its Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria collections in AlUla, Saudi Arabia on 27 January, marking the Italian House's first show in the Kingdom. The show is part of the AlUla Moments' Winter at Tantora Festival celebrating heritage, culture and music and will take place during the Ikmah Fashion Cavalry Show, which highlights the tradition of Arabian horses in the region. 12 Arabian horses - alongside models - will be dressed in Dolce & Gabbana for the event.
In addition, Dolce & Gabbana will exhibit its haute couture creations in Maraya, the world's largest mirrored structure, from 28 to 31 January. Not only can guests get an up-close look at the one-of-a-kind collection and shop their favourites, Dolce & Gabbana's master tailor will be on-hand to personally fit shoppers and customise their purchases.
The Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria collections were first unveiled digitally in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, followed by an in-person presentation in Venice last year. Alta Moda showcases haute couture creations; Alta Sartoria is a bespoke menswear presentation; and Alta Gioielleria is the high jewellery collection.
AlUla is a historical site in the northeast of Saudi Arabia and the oldest city in the Arabian Peninsula. It is home to UNESCO World Heritage Site Hegra and was once the crossroads of The Silk Road and The Incense Route. Buy Tickets
