Trends come and go, but the Lady Dior is forever. A staple in Dior's accessory collection since its launch in 1994, it has taken on new life with the Dior Lady Art Project which invites international artists to transform a Lady Dior bag through their unique vision.
This year marks the project's ninth edition and includes artists from Peru, Beijing, Turkiyë, Vietnam, Canada, Korea and the USA. Each artist's Lady Dior bag is an interpretation of their identities and echoes their artistic approaches and personalities, whether it be Woo Kukwon's whimsical cartoon-adorned iterations and intricately beaded landscapes or Jeffrey Gibson's kaleidoscopic piece complete with an abundance of charms.
Though drenched in artworks, the timeless codes of the Lady Dior shine through - its iconic silhouette and 'DIOR' charms ensure the House's heritage both cuts through and compliments the artists' works. The collection is available in select Dior boutiques worldwide.
