The biggest event in American sports took place last night: The Super Bowl. And, sure, football is fun to watch, but 100 million viewers are really tuning in to watch the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The stage has seen Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna and the line-up for 2022 was equally as spectacular.

In a show that evoked nostalgia for many ageing millennials, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar took to the stage to perform hits including California Love, The Next Episode, Lose Yourself and No More Drama.

Mary J. Blige - the only female in the line-up - performed chart-toppers No More Drama and Family Affair in an all-white, sequin-and-crystal embellished Peter Dundas ensemble comprising a tie-front crop top, ultra-short shorts, fingerless gloves and thigh-high cheetah-print Dundas x Sergio Rossi boots. For her second song, Mary J. Blige topped off her look with a wide-brimmed hat for added oomph.

Peter Dundas custom made the outfit for the occasion, working with the Grammy award-winning musician on the design. The spotlight's reflections in the swarovski crystals, sequins and pearl detailing dazzled audiences, though some sparkle was no doubt courtesy of her 33-carat diamond hoop earrings. When it comes to Mary J. Blige's outfits, we can safely assume "No More Drama" doesn't apply.
