Your next piece of arm candy is Givenchy's Mystic handbag – a structured silhouette that boasts power and femininity...
Ever since Clare Waight Keller joined Givenchy to fulfil her role as Artistic Director in 2017, the British designer has ultimately been on a quest to create beautifully-executed clothes that highlighted the maison's heritage, as well as boasts Clare's creative vision.
Adding her own twist to the already-cemented key codes of Givenchy, Clare (who just made Time's 100 Most Influential List) has mastered the combinations of sophistication and femininity through several designs – most recently her latest pre-fall '19 collection.
Debuting a slew of statement staples that are certain to top our wish-lists, the British designer has introduced a brand new handbag to go along with the collection.
Titled Mystic, the structured silhouette sees inspiration from Givenchy's haute couture collection through fine calf leather, hand-made topstitching, hand-painted edging and contrasting suede lining.
Beautifully epitomising power and restraint, the new piece comes complete with a graceful V-shape flap, a double-G clasp and adjustable straps allowing for more versatility and volume.
Available in eight different colours (think black, natural, desert, storm grey, aubergine, pale pink, yellow and lichen), the half-concealed hardware lends a soft element to the structured piece.
Now, find out where Clare Waight Keller will be showcasing her first stand-alone men’s show for Givenchy.
