Dubai Fashion Week has officially come to a close after five spectacular days of fashion, panel discussions and parties. Here, MOJEH rounds-up the highlights of the week.

Day One

Rizman Ruzaini opened Dubai Fashion Week, the first event on the international fashion calendar, with a splendid autumn/winter 2024/25 haute couture collection. The show coincided with the launch of the Malaysian design duo's website and introduced the Maison's bridal collections to the region. The collection fused traditional 17th-century garments from the Mughal Empire with a contemporary flair.

Day Two

Mrs. Keepa, member of the Dubai Fashion Week council, debuted its first-ever couture collection on day two of Dubai Fashion Week in collaboration with Sotheby's. The SS24 couture collection, 'The Inhale Collection,' is inspired by underwater landscapes and creatures of the deep. The second day also saw Moroccan couturier Maison Sara Chaïbi present the La Terre haute couture collection after a whirlwind showcase at Paris Couture Week.

Day Three

As expected, Filipino designer Michael Cinco brought the house down on day three of Dubai Fashion Week with a showcase of both menswear and womenswear collections. Later that day, Threads hosted a discussion with tastemakers from the region, discussing the region's fashion landscape and names to know.

Day Four

Zeynab El-Helw, content creator and founder of Reborn, showcased her streetwear-led designs in a collection titled 'Phoenix Rise,' which celebrates individuality and self-expression. Dubai Fashion Week member Dima Ayed also presented on day four, taking us back to the nineties with nostalgic silhouettes.

Day Five

Dubai Fashion Week ended with Beirut-born label BLSSD making its debut as a Dubai Fashion Week member with an immersive presentation of the autumn/winter collection. Forgoing the traditional runway, BLSSD invited guests to a backstage-like experience where they could get up close and personal with the collection.
