Middle Eastern couturiers who could be the next participants in Paris

Jean Louis Sabaji

Beirut-based Lebanese fashion designer Sabaji is known for his Mcqueen-esque take on edgy couture dresses with an ethereal and dark undertone. His conceptual statement dresses are rich with subliminal messages close to his heart, and intricate with details that revel in the mix and matching of multi-coloured and avant-garde shapes and patterns.

Amato Couture

The larger-than-life designer of Amato, Furne One, is known for creating timeless modern classics that are collectors' items. With an always overbooked attendence for his show at Fashion Forward, in keeping with couture traditions, Amato textures its own fabrics, fashioning lavish materials, detailed with rare embellishment techniques.

Hussein Bazaza

One of Middle East's pioneers of "Wearable Art", Bazaza has become one of the region's most popular fashion designers after winning many accolades including Dubai Design and Fashion Council's Designer Of The Year and being picked up by e-commerce giants Farfetch and Moda Operandi, putting his designs on the international map.

Hamda AlFahim

Abu-Dhabi based couturier, Hamda Alfahim's poetic bespoke dresses mix Eastern and Western influences that make up her signature style. Each glimmering gown is designed using handcrafted sequins, keeping alive traditional techniques of original Haute Couture.

Rami Kadi

Lebanese designer Rami Kadi has been on our watch list for a long time, thanks to his intricate couture creations and impeccable craftsmanship. His latest collection, "May Blossom", takes a more feminine turn with aquatic colours like violet, blue and pink that mix luxury and grandeur with the whispers of nature with exquisite embroidery and dramatic lace embraces.
