This collaboration has launched just in time for the weekend and it was definitely worth waiting for…
Luxury label The Row has created a capsule collection for Net-A-Porter and the all-blue colour code serves as a Spring inspired chambray blue mélange. The brand which was founded by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen has become synonymous with beautiful fabrics, precise tailoring and for delivering a minimalist and contemporary take on wardrobe perennials. For this collaboration, The Row has reinterpreted some of its key silhouettes – the classic camisole, a long-sleeve blouse with billowing gathered sleeves, a long sleeve v-neck dress, pleated skirt, classic crew neck cashmere sweater, and sleeveless turtleneck blouse – and delivers them all in a universally flattering, subdued, cornflower blue.
According to Elizabeth von der Goltz, the Global Buying Director of Net-A-Porter, the collection is, “perfect for women on the go who still want to look polished” and “the capsule of light and wearable pieces will solve any summer workwear dilemma”. We couldn’t agree more. What could be more elegant that a louche silk shirt and knife-pleat skirt. Or more comfortable for a demi-formal lunch than the silk maxi with gathered sleeves. She also mentioned that the bare sandal is their “hit shoe” of the season – take it from a woman who knows.
The collection lands on Net-A-Porter today. If you have a penchant for timeless elegance, it’s definitely worth making note. These are the kind of wardrobe updates that ooze longevity, as well as a relaxed yet flawless aesthetic.
