Word on the street is that this fashion month will be the most star-studded yet. This is reportedly because of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike which demands creatives registered under the American actors’ union SAG-AFTRA cease promotional appearances and filming. Therefore, with red carpets but a distant memory, fashion month has become the place to see and be seen (and stay relevant). Case in point? The Michael Kors SS24 show in New York. Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski and Ashley Graham took to the catwalk while a gaggle of A-listers looked on. Blake Lively, Olivia Wilde, Ellen Pompeo, Elsa Hosk and Nikki Hilton were just some of the famous friends of the House in attendance.
The Michael Kors SS24 collection was dubbed “barefoot glamour” by the designer and presents an array of wardrobe staples that complement the effortless energy of summer holidays in 1970s Europe.
