MFW: Marni Mania

Consuelo Castiglioni is all about modernity. For s/s 17 the designer sent her troupe of models down the runway in deftly deconstructed pieces that appeared light, breathable and strictly for the cool girls and girl bosses. There wasn’t a moment of blasé silhouetting. Expertly cut kimono sleeves morphed into the body of an indigo jumpsuit while elsewhere on similarly billowy proportions were waist-cinching belts and puffer pockets that slightly resembled details on Jodhpur trousers.
