Another significant moment for the industry was when actor Idris Elba made history as the first male to win two SAG awards in one night, after a debatable snub from the Academy Awards. Our dreams came true as outspoken comediennes and presenters for the night Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunited on stage to present actress and comic Carol Burnett with the evening’s Life Achievement Award in a hilarious introduction while taking a jab at Leonardo DiCaprio for his Outstanding performance in The Revenant.
