STRANGER THAN FICTION

For Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2020, Nicolas Ghesquière revealed retro-style pieces influenced by horror movies and sci-fi novels from the '50s, '70s and '80s. Think: graphic printed T-shirts paired with floral pleated skirts, polo necks layered under leather mini dresses and sequin embroidered tops worn with high-shine trousers, all in a bold mash-up of clashing colour palettes and prints. Imbued with a futuristic twist sent from another dimension, the collection also reveals moon boots straight from a sci-fi film and a fresh spin on the LV logo, adorned on pockets and accessories. With a pair of boots for every kind of occasion — from heavy-duty ankle boots to cowboy-esque silhouette sand outer space kicks — Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2020 collection takes a stylish step back in time, with a subtle nod to the future. Here, model Agata Wozniak wears the retro-inspired fashion which is reimagined through the lens of Mann and styled by Natascha Hawke.
