This week, as the collection officially launches in Abu Dhabi, we take a closer look at the small jewels with boundless appeal...
Francesca Amfitheatrof is the new alchemist at Louis Vuitton. The new design star in their fine jewellery crown. Formerly Design Director at Tiffany & Co, she was appointed Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellery for Louis Vuitton in April 2018. Little over a year later her debut collection for the brand - B Blossom - has come to life, and naturally, we want it all.
Ultimately the collection oozes everyday wearability. The designs marry modernity and tradition seamlessly - hardly surprising given that Amfitheatrof was behind Tiffany & Co's wildly popular 'T' collection. Yet while her flawless taste shines through, the French Maison's signatures are all present - there's no doubt this is a Louis Vuitton collection. The iconic star-shaped flower emblem, first created by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896, is reimagined in a series of pieces. Rings, earrings and necklaces in rose gold, white gold and yellow gold are designed with clean lines and chains. While colourful stones like pink opal and onyx add a fresh, light and contemporary touch.
The high profile advertising campaign also features some of showbiz and fashion's most famous faces. Shot by Craig McDean, the series of portraits feature Chloë Grace Moretz, Zhong Chu Xi, Indya Moore, Sophie Turner and Signe Veiteberg - all chosen for their femininity, grace and independence.
