Fashion weeks for spring/summer 2019 finally come to an end tonight with the Louis Vuitton SS19 show. After a month’s worth of shows from New York and London, to Milan and Paris, the LVMH heavy weight will close proceedings with what’s set to be a ‘vision of the future’, according to the house’s Instagram teasers.
Following its Cruise19 spectacle, which took place in one of France’s art institutions, – the Fondation Marguerite and Aimé Maeght in the South of France – the Louis Vuitton SS19 show will be held at the Louvre, Paris. Designer Nicolas Ghesquière is celebrated for his dynamic, forward-thinking and functional designs, and we’re expecting nothing less from tonight’s showcase.
Videos of space stations and cities in the sky have been released in promotion of Louis Vuitton SS19. ‘Imagining another tomorrow’ is the tagline fuelling the futuristic visions, joined by a colour palette of acid pink and neon turquoise with hints of red and yellow.
