Kendall Jenner is the world's highest-paid supermodel and one of the most influential people in the fashion world with swarms of followers looking to her for style inspiration. Now, she adds Creative Director to her ever-growing list of achievements, as she has just been appointed the title by luxury fashion e-tailer FWRD.

Owned by Revolve Group, FWRD connects shoppers with both established and up-and-coming designers and "transcends traditional e-commerce with its combination of first-class customer service and elusive roster of designers." FWRD showcases these designers through editorial imagery which, as part of Kendall Jenner's deal, she will now be a prominent feature in. Case in point: the Fall 2021 campaign, photographed by Glen Luchford.

Kendall has already curated her first edit for the platform, selecting pieces from Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, The Row and Jacquemus. Aside from curating monthly edits and selecting brands, the creative director will manage the look and feel of the platform, contribute to marketing ideas and oversee brand partnerships.

The 25-year-old model appeals to FWRD's young demographic, as Revolve Group co-CEO and co-founder Michael Mente explains, "Kendall as the creative director for FWRD is the perfect choice as we continue to invest in the next generation luxury consumer." Revolve Group Chief Brand Officer Raissa Gerona shared the reason for appointing the supermodel, saying "As leaders in the industry and innovators in marketing, we are always looking for fresh ideas, staying ahead of the curve, and being at the forefront of style trends. The world looks at Kendall to lead the industry, and we are beyond excited to have her vision for FWRD come to life."

Kendall shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, "As a lover of fashion, and having been incredibly fortunate to work with some of the most brilliant people in this business, I’ve learned so much over the years. As FWRD's new Creative Director, I am excited to learn even more and help curate the site’s offering with emerging designers and brands!"

Kendall will step into her new role on 8 September, which coincides with the start of New York Fashion Week. Shop the edit
