In celebration of Net-A-Porter’s island launch on Animal Crossing: New Horizons – a virtual experience that allows guests to enjoy NAP HQ from afar – Isabel Marant has launched a capsule collection especially for the Animal Crossing runway. Avatar-inspired and littered with sequins and silver, it’s just the right amount of oomph for occasionwear.

Animal Crossing, a video game on Nintendo Switch, reached peak popularity during worldwide lockdowns as most were stuck indoors with little entertainment. Everyone from celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Brie Larson to President-Elect Joe Biden were playing the game, in which you live on an island and have to build homes, complete tasks and interact with the community; the latter of which was forbidden in real life during the majority of 2020.
