The city's fashion elite know how to dress for the unpredictable weather
The weather in New York at this time of year has a reputation for wreaking sartorial havoc. With scattered showers, bursts of sunshine and some serious humidity in play, it can be almost impossible to dress appropriately. But luckily for us, the fashion crowd has got autumn dressing covered with a range of floaty dresses, practical jumpsuits, office inspired blazers, and sensible footwear. Statement suits in block colours and bold prints have once again proved to be a popular choice, as has animal print in any form. When the temperature dropped, out came the layers in some creative ways. Most notably, Olivia Palermo who styled an orange jumpsuit over a sheer lace long sleeve top.
