Entering into his ninth season in the French capital, the designer presented his latest couture collection for spring. Ali showcased his expertise in his craft, showcasing immaculate precision in his design with hand-beaded embroidery that gave sophisticated glamour to the collection. We saw masquerade inspired silhouettes come to life with the manipulation of voluminous fabrics. Sculptured and structured with precision in mind, Ali gives a nod to the age-old technique of design. There was an affluent aesthetic to the collection with opulent satins, regal brocade and soft tulle used in the construction. Floor grazing gowns gave drama and stately presence, as artistry remained a strong focus. Dusted pastels and royal blue were the colours of choice. Remaining true to previous collections, Ali’s designs are formed with the 'Rami Al Ali woman' in mind, by opting for silhouettes that complement a women’s natural curves.
