The region’s creative and industry professionals flooded to the Souk Madinat Arena this weekend to witness the works of their favourite designers at Fashion Forward Season 6. In a region dominated by Haute Couture, the scales seemed to have tipped. Designers that have gained momentum over the past few years both internationally and regionally, such as Madiyah Al Sharqi and Taller Marmo, have championed the effortless appeal of ready-to-wear with great success, taking the Middle Eastern fashion scene to a global customer. We look to the catwalks and presentations of the designers that are slowly shifting the infrastructure of the regional fashion scene.
