Here’s How to Wear This Season’s Most Fantastical Pieces

Fashion calls for theatrics as bold prints, primary hues and inflamed silhouettes impassion the season

Floral prints move from whimsical and soft, to graphic and fantastical in MOJEH Issue 50’s fashion story Fantasyland. Photographed by Thanassis Krikis at an amusement park in Greece, Fantasyland showcases pieces from Balenciaga, Chanel and Mary Katrantzou. A sheer pink Blumarine dress featuring light polka dots and embellished with painterly tulips forms playful motions for Summer.

Starring model Romana Umrianova and styled by Marilena Karagianni, the shoot captures the exciting and explorative spirit of this season’s collections. Delpozo’s floor length, cherry red gown showcases sixties style, over-sized floral prints and billowing turquoise sleeves. Wear with neon yellow sandals loaded with white crystals for additional glee. Striped black and white knee-high Dior socks nod towards Charlie Chaplin’s era of silent, comical movies. Melded with blue make-up and heart emblems to add to the fun.

Oversized whimsical blooms feature on Dolce & Gabbana’s floor-length day dress, where as Mary Katrantzou chooses slightly more graphic florals in marine hues. Both can be worn with statement shoes in clashing colours to elevate their eccentric spirit.

This summer think bold movements, fiery silhouettes and an excess of drama.
