Gabriela Hearst’s highly-anticipated launch of her new ‘Walk-woman’ handbag has just made its debut in the Middle East…
The Middle East’s hub of luxury footwear, Level Shoes, already boasts a plethora of coveted collections. Now, the Chalhoub concept store are expanding their offering by adding yet another exclusive partnership to their portfolio.
After years of garnering a cult following – in part due to her products’ impeccable craftsmanship and distinctive shapes – Gabriela Hearst’s handbag collection has officially landed in stores. Making Level Shoes the only retailer in the region to offer the collection, you’re going to want to act fast.
Within the exclusive partnership, not only will you be able to get your hands on one of the Uruguayan designer’s signature styles (including the Demi and the Nina bag). The collaboration will also introduce a brand new bag silhouette (yes!).
Dubbed as the ‘Walk-woman’, the new hand-crafted limited-edition design was “inspired by the first recordable media player and named after the empowerment of the future,” said Hearst.
Complete with different metals and stones, the handbags come adorned with interchangeable cases and straps in nappa leather and crocodile materials.
Without compromising her eponymous label’s core values and ethics, Gabriela Hearst’s installation in Level Shoes is a prime example of her views on sustainability meets luxury. “We wanted to create an installation that was least wasteful as possible,” said Hearst. “By using existing materials and avoiding the use of new natural resources, we had to be savvy in order to create a beautiful and luxurious space with these limitations.”
Gabriela Hearst’s collections are exclusively available at Level Shoes until April 4, 2019. Plus, a complimentary personalisation service is available in store.
