ERDEM'S BOTANICAL CAPSULE COLLECTION WITH MYTHERESA DROPS TODAY
The latest on MyTheresa's CV of collaborations is a capsule collection with Erdem, which launches today, May 23. Inspired by botanics, the 10-piece line-up features vibrant floral prints, each drawing inspiration from the Canadian/Turkish designer's S/S19 show. The result is a beautiful, mood-enhancing collection of easy-wear silk and organza pieces in airy blues and pinks, that demand to be packed up and whisked away on a romantic summer holiday. Think corn fields, summer gardens and beachside sunset strolls to set the scene.
"I am so thrilled to be collaborating with MyTheresa," says Erdem Moralioglu, the brand's creative director. "I took inspiration for this collection from the idea of Victorian textiles - I wanted to create something that was soft and dreamlike. The print is based on one from my Spring/Summer 2019 fashion show, which I reworked with a new colour palette for the capsule. I wanted there to be a mixture of really special pieces with embroidered gowns, as well as easy, classic pieces."
