The Dutch duo never fail to amaze showgoers with their avant-garde fashion and this season of couture was no different. “It’s a Surrealist meeting of a white pique polo shirt and Cubist portraits,” says Viktor Horsting on the collection describing it as a “performance of sculpture”. Omnipresent impressions of Picasso’s paintings were sculptured on the models, each wearing cut-outs of all-white 3D facial features on their dresses. Depending on the angle from which they were viewed, the individual pieces morphed from one structure to another. Proving to be a momentous step in artsy fashion where the father of cubism mingled with a classic polo t-shirt, we look forward to what the future holds for the inventive artists.
