Louis Vuitton descended upon sun-drenched San Francisco for its Cruise 2023 presentation, transforming the award-winning grounds of The Salk Institute of Biological Research into a fashion lover’s paradise. Some of those fashion lovers included friends of the Maison, such as Bridgerton‘s Phoebe Dynevor, Gemma Chan, Emma Roberts, the Apatows and Ana de Armas, all of whom were equally stunned by the location as the cruise collection. “There were moments where I thought I was in a dream and it wasn’t real,” shared Phoebe Dynevor from the show. “This is a space dedicated to science – to have this collision of science and art is completely mesmerising,” echoed Ava DuVernay.
The collection featured goddess-like drapery and futuristic silhouettes inspired by Nicolas Ghesquière’s love of science fiction.
