Miu Miu debuted ultra-short minis for Spring/Summer 2022 and the leg-baring styles have since taken the fashion world by storm. So much so, that stylist Ashley has created an Instagram account dedicated to the viral ensemble which features a beige pleated mini, cropped shirt and grey crew-neck sweater. Zendaya, Nicole Kidman, Chiara Ferragni, Naomi Campbell and Saweetie are just some of the stars seen in the set so far this spring.

The spring/summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection, Basic Instincts, is “A reaction to and reflection of reality, an economy, a freshness found in iterations of eternal, universal garments,” according to Miuccia Prada. The preppy designs evoke endless nostalgia with back-to-school hues, knitwear and knee-high socks. Hailey Bieber showed off the set’s colourways in the Miu Miu campaign and teamed the super-cropped sweater with an array of bottoms including low-slung trousers and pencil skirts.
