Layla Kardan revealed her secret nuptials on Instagram and, naturally, we wanted all the outfit details
Dubai-based songstress Layla Kardan dropped a surprise announcement on Instagram: she is officially a married woman! She said “I do” in Tiblisi, Georgia on 22.02.22 in a private ceremony with only her other half, Hamdan, in attendance. Layla shared details of the nuptials with her 223 thousand followers, writing “I got married, and as expected, in an unconventional and private way in a red dress, just me and him, my best friend. Not that I’m against a fairytale, but the truth is I never liked the idea of a big wedding with lots of people and the judgement and planning and all the attention. We had the most amazing time just us, and whilst we missed our families and closest ones, it was a fuss-free, headache-free celebration of the two of us. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Layla wore two dresses for the occasion, both designed by Abu Dhabi-based Hanayen Couture. The first was a voluminous, off-the-shoulder gown in striking red, complete with a sweetheart neckline and extra-long split train for added oomph. Layla shared more photographs from the celebrations, this time of her wearing a black, feather-lined strapless gown with sequins throughout. The musician accessorised both looks with cascading diamond earrings.
