In the March issue of MOJEH, we dive into spring/summer 2022, bringing you the only trend guide you’ll need this season. Here, Mojeh Izadpanah explains what to expect from the bumper style issue

If you’re anything like me, you will be asking yourself “How it is March already?” With the year flying by so fast, I am happy that March is here, along with all the SS22 sunshine that comes with it. In this bumper style issue, we have flown across the globe to shoot the latest and greatest collections in fashion stories that transcend trends. If you are as elated by the current collections as I am, MOJEH’s definitive (extra-large) guide to SS22 is only a flick away.

March 8th marks International Women’s Day and we pay homage to one of the greatest female entrepreneurs in the region, Madame Shahnaz Bagherzadeh. Over the last three decades she has built a global business out of her treasured family recipes. Read her incredible story and be inspired.

If you happen to be a culture vulture, Art Dubai starts on the 11th of the month and will showcase the region’s most prolific as well as up-and-coming artists. We also met with some of the region’s premier female artists, entrepreneurs and changemakers and discovered how they continue to make a difference and inspire us to do the same in Arts & Their Crafts.

With a busy month ahead of us it is always essential that we are mindful and take the time to look after ourselves first – starting with our breathing. Increasing in popularity (especially since the pandemic and recent world events), breathwork is a practice that has (and should) become a part of our everyday. With benefits to your physical and mental health it is definitely worth a try, and we investigate how to integrate a breathing ritual into your routine.

A bustling month, March is one of my favourite times of the year. Bringing with it all the new season collections, both fashion and art, it is also our last chance to visit EXPO2020 which has an incredible calendar of events planned.

A certain date for your diary, Art Dubai kicks off this month. From March 11th – 13th, the Middle East’s cultural scene will show us what they are made of.

If you haven’t made it to EXPO2020 yet, an absolute must- do this month is a visit to the Cartier Women’s Pavillion. The Solutions Room is a wonderfully positive place that presents many of the initiatives put in place to support women and girls across the globe.
