The Best Street Style Looks from Couture Fashion Week

Jan 24, 2020 | 4 min read

While fashion’s finest and fanciest wears were paraded on the catwalks of Haute Couture Fashion Week, off the catwalk, the fashion pack’s sartorial choices proved equally as dazzling.

BLAZING A TRAIL IN BLACK AND WHITE

This fashion week guest braves the cold in a short sleeve button-down Dior dress, paired with black sling backs and a Dior saddle bag. Classic, feminine, and a sartorial win.

Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert was spotted in a monochrome Chanel jumpsuit during the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2020 shows. This is one-step dressing at its best.

Working minimalist tailoring, stylist and creative director Pernille Teisbaeck was seen wearing an off-white turtleneck, blazer and trousers, accessorised with a black Chanel bag and sunglasses.

ATTENTION-SEEKING IN COLOUR

Influencer Jessica Wang is never one to shy away from trends or colour, here she’s seen in a modest red button down dress and cape combo, outside the Alexandre Vauthier show.

Carlotta Rubaltelli mixes and matches brands for the perfect pink ensemble. Here she’s teams a pink Miu Miu pleated skirt with a McQueen blazer, she accessorises with a Valentino bag and  rhinestone embellished Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

DRESSING DOWN WITH A SMALL DOSE OF DENIM

Dubai’s favourite influencer Karen Wazen stepped out in Dior’s Fantasied Toile de Jouy denim dress - its hood gives it a casual vibe while the belt adds definition.

Leonie Hanne wore a look from Dior’s Cruise collection to attend the Dior Haute Couture show. She teamed the printed coat with a Dior belt, blue denim flares, pumps, and a Dior Saddle bag.

An off-duty model teams a well-loved pair of jeans with a textured black coat, heels and a Chanel bag for a look that’s effortlessly chic.

OPTING FOR A CLASSIC CAMEL COVER-UP

The founder of French brand Rouge, Jeanne Damas knows a thing or two about easy chic. This look is so simple, yet so on point. The leather gives the trench an instant update, as does the bright lipstick.

This is another perfect example of how a change in fabric can add modernity. Lauren Santo Domingo wears her flowing long trench coat with black trews and mules, for a look that’s laidback luxe.

Model Grace Elizabeth opts for a tonal off-duty wardrobe. The sumptuous camel coat, camel trousers, white tee and Converse are a stylish yet comfortable wardrobe solution, perfect for hotfooting around the city.
