Dubai Fashion Week kicked off the global Fashion Month calendar with a spectacular curation of runway shows, presentations and star-studded parties. Closing out the week was Roberto Cavalli, which presented the House's Resort 2025 collection amongst the region's tastemakers.
In honour of the late founder's legacy, the collection infuses signature Cavalli elements including head-to-toe animal prints and relays a message of empowerment and individuality. "The brand does not define a single Roberto Cavalli woman," explained Fausto Puglisi, the House's creative director, in a statement. "Roberto Cavalli believes this collection speaks to the individuality, strength and beauty of the women in this region."
The evening also saw the unveiling of a capsule collection inspired by the delicate nature of Murano glass; the dreamy blues and elegant greens serve as a tribute to both Venetian craftsmanship and the House's heritage.
Dubai Fashion Week is an annual event co-founded by d3 and the Arab Fashion Council and is held at Dubai Design District. The event aims to solidify Dubai's role as a global fashion and culture hub and bring international attention to regional talents.
