Haute Couture Week in Paris may only be four days long, but the fashion-packed festivities result in plenty of jaw-dropping moments. Middle Eastern couturiers are renowned for their craftsmanship and their presentations are some of the most highly anticipated events on the Couture Week calendar. For the AW24 season, Georges Hobeika kicked off celebrations for the region on day one while Ashi Studio closed-out the calendar in style on 27 June. Here, MOJEH rounds-up the AW24 haute couture collections by regional designers at Paris Haute Couture Week.

Zuhair Murad

Zuhair Murad took an alternative approach to couture for AW24, swapping sweeping princess gowns for sharp-shouldered silhouettes drenched in embellishments including mosaic-like shards, pearls and sequins galore; the dramatic collection predominantly consisted of deep reds, black and jewel tones. Elie Saab

At the stroke of midnight, Lebanese couturier Elie Saab revealed an enchanting haute couture collection at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. The collection, Enchanted Serenade, emerged first with a parade of gothic gowns in black, emerald and ruby, followed by the romance of chiffon, florals and delicate pinks. The contrasting palette and fluidity from nocturnal hues to delicate blushes evoked evenings in a moonlit garden that transform to gentle, sun-dappled mornings. The Lebanese designer introduced menswear to his couture offerings in 2022 and they appear once more for AW24 in the form of intricately embroidered capes. Rewatch the show

Rami Al Ali

The Dubai-based couturier showcased his creations in motion for his AW24 presentation atop Paris' Landscape Tower, enlisting the help of world-class athletes including high jump champion Nawal Meniker, basketball star Luna Kozacska, surfer Maribel Koucke and sprinter Olivia Jean Gilles. The collaboration, photographed by Christian Lartillot, coincides with Paris hosting the Olympic Games and relays themes of dynamism, energy and movement. The presentation showcased couture with a new perspective, marrying strength and power with elegance and femininity. Watch the presentation

Ashi Studio

Mystery, sensuality and strength were the core of a collection that "explores the movement between worlds." Gravity-defying silhouettes paraded down a surrealist, borderline-ominous runway, a cacophony of geometric shapes and textures leaving attendees' mouths agape. The masterclass in craftsmanship comes courtesy of Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi, whose consistent marriage of fashion and artwork has earned him endless accolades. Rewatch the show

Georges Hobeika

Reflecting the tipping point between day and night and inspired by the vibrancy of a twilight garden, Georges Hobeika's couture collection for AW24 boasts an abundance of blooms. Whether embroidered, crafted from beadwork or courtesy of intricate lace inserts, flora is the star of the sartorial show. Men's tailoring reflects the Nocturnal Garden theme with outerwear adorned in sequins to resemble morning dew. Rewatch the show
