Noon By Noor graced London Fashion Week with a poetic interplay of light and shadow in their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, "Ray of Light"

Bahrain-based founders of Noon by Noor, Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohamed Al Khalifa, created an ethereal presentation at Somerset House that embodied a delicate balance between translucency and depth. The designers drew inspiration from a moment in their Bahrain studio, where sunlight illuminated a black tulle dress, casting intricate, almost magical shadows - a moment that crystallised the collection's concept.

With influences from the photographic artistry of Man Ray and Katerina Jebb, the collection plays with layered textures and reflective surfaces. Translucent fabrics like sequinned tulle and techno cotton poplin breathe life into garments that shimmer in the light. The result is a collection that feels weightless yet structured, combining airy fabrics with strong silhouettes. Linen tuxedos paired with long skirts, oversized shirts under crisp blazers - the designs skilfully merge masculine tailoring with feminine fluidity, showcasing a balance between fantasy and reality.

The collection, paired with a unique soundscape composed by Uwe Doll, heightened the surreal atmosphere of the showcase. Overlapping tracks mirrored the layered garments, creating an auditory experience that was as fluid and dynamic as the visuals.
