The Attico shone this season with an exciting collaboration with Nike, unveiled in their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “The Sound of Breaking Glass.” This presentation intertwined emotional depth with athletic flair, as creative directors Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio drew from their own heartbreaks to explore fragility as a form of strength.

The collection featured Nike sports bras and bodysuits in soft, muted tones, paired with sheer skirts and oversized jackets. The Attico beautifully demonstrated how powerful emotions can inspire striking fashion, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of strength and delicacy. Relaxed track pants and undergarment-style bottoms added a sporty touch, while sheer fabrics symbolised vulnerability alongside structured silhouettes that represented resilience.

Roberto Cavalli's Spring/Summer 2025 show at Milan Fashion Week marked a poignant moment, being the first in Milan since the iconic designer's passing a year ago. It followed his finale presentation at Dubai Fashion Week, where creative director Fausto Puglisi honoured Cavalli's legacy with seven archival pieces, including signature asymmetrical zebra dresses and feathered gowns worn by the original models.

The collection, inspired by Puglisi's hometown of Messina, featured white looks with seaside rope detailing and vibrant photo prints of sunsets. With daring cutouts and flexible mermaid silhouettes, the show paid tribute to Cavalli’s enduring impact on fashion while signalling a fresh direction for the brand.

Boss embraced a slower pace at Milan Fashion Week with its "Out of Office" themed SS25 collection, prioritising relaxation amidst the city’s hectic atmosphere. Set against the tranquil backdrop of a wild garden in the Palazzo del Senato courtyard, the collection radiated laid-back luxury, providing a refreshing escape from urban life.

The front row sparkled with stars like David Beckham, Michele Marrone and Paul Forman from Emily in Paris, adding to the show's allure. Creative director Marco Falcioni aimed to inspire attendees to slow down and relish moments of tranquility, reminding us that fashion can also serve as a form of escape. This collection not only showcased beautiful pieces but also delivered a powerful message about the importance of self-care and relaxation in our fast-paced world.

Kendall Jenner has long been a fashion week favourite, but this season she stole the spotlight with a dramatic blonde transformation. Revealing her new sunflower-blonde hair on Instagram, Kendall’s fresh look was a hit on and off the runway. Her decision to debut this sun-kissed shade just in time for fashion month has made waves, with fashion insiders and fans alike buzzing about the change. Making appearances across Milan (and no doubt Paris in the coming days), her new look epitomised reinvention and set the tone for a season defined by bold moves and fresh perspectives.

Philipp Plein’s SS25 show was not just about fashion but about unveiling his latest venture: The Plein Hotel Milano. Set to officially open at the end of October, the hotel provided the perfect backdrop for Plein’s eclectic runway, which blended streetwear with luxurious evening wear.

The show, held within the hotel’s courtyard and future restaurant space, was a visual journey from casual denim looks to bold monogrammed pieces that transitioned seamlessly into evening wear. With rapper Fabulous leading the finale, Plein ensured that his collection - and the hotel - were the talk of the town. The Plein Hotel promises to bring new levels of luxury to Milan, complete with a beach club and bespoke dining experiences, setting a new standard for fashion-meets-hospitality in the city.
