The iconic Horsebit bag returns in a bold new form

In the ever-evolving landscape of fashion, Gucci remains a master of reinvention. With Autumn/Winter 2025, the House presents Continuum, a collection that bridges past, present, and future - a fluid dialogue between heritage and modernity, masculinity and femininity, rigour and playfulness.

From the moment models stepped onto the entwined dark-green Interlocking G catwalk - marking the emblem’s fiftieth anniversary - it was clear that this collection was a study in contrasts. The traditional boundaries of men’s and women’s fashion blurred, creating a seamless interplay of textures, tailoring, and era-spanning silhouettes.

Sartorial strictness met effortless sensuality: slubbed tweeds reminiscent of British menswear were softened into fluid crepe de chine blouses, while mohair shirting, coated wools, and bonded bouclés played with the tension between structure and movement. Gucci’s signature sprezzatura - studied nonchalance - was evident in every detail, from the precise tailoring to the unexpected bursts of colour and skin. A muted palette of greens, greys, mauves, and browns unified both menswear and womenswear, proving that luxury need not shout to make an impact.

The latest iteration of the Horsebit bag debuted on the catwalk - an icon reimagined for a new era. Celebrating seventy years of the Horsebit 1955, Gucci unveiled the new unisex Horsebit bag, a slouched shoulder piece with an oversized, statement-making Horsebit handle. The collection also introduced the meticulously crafted Gucci Siena, featuring a half-Horsebit click closure - an instant classic in the making. These are artefacts of a brand that understands the power of reinvention.

The show’s cinematic quality was heightened by an original orchestral score composed by Justin Hurwitz - the Oscar-winning mind behind some of Hollywood’s most evocative soundtracks. The music underscored the synergy of the collection, amplifying the emotional weight of Gucci’s vision: a brand rooted in history, always looking forward.

Gucci's Autumn/Winter collection is an evolving narrative of taste, craftsmanship, and identity that refuses to be confined by time or tradition. This season, Gucci doesn’t just dress the present; it stitches the past and the future into every seam.
