Flowers And Feathers Intertwine In Elie Saab’s SS25 Haute Couture Collection

Evoking a dreamlike feeling was Elie Saab’s spring/summer collection of ethereal designs

With everything from draped denims and fringe shawls to embellished gowns and monochrome dresses making an appearance, Elie Saab achieved a haute couture collection that is delicate yet powerfully feminine.

The SS25 collection paints a dreamlike portrait of an Impressionist garden, where couture craftsmanship blends with the illusion of art. It emphasises soft pigments, translucent layers and intricate detailing, creating an otherworldly feeling.

Flowers, particularly lilies, camellias and roses, bloom throughout the collection, and textural elements like pewter braids, glittering beads and nude chiffon also create an interesting interplay of light and shadow. Adding an unexpected allure to the collection is denim, which was seen towards the end of the show.

Silhouettes range from fluid and draped to structured, complete with Elie Saab’s signature bridal creations like veils and double trains allowing one to style the most extravagant wardrobe for the next wedding season.

Taking place at the Palais De Tokyo in Paris, which transformed into a mocha mousse dreamscape for the show, the collection created a stunning experience for all the fashion enthusiasts watching.
