Vintage quirks meet modern twists in a dreamy vision of old and new in Retro Redux for MOJEH's latest issue
Head-to-toe lycra - courtesy of 2018's breakout brand Ganni - melds perfectly against a pop of Manolo Blahnik pink on the feet. The washed out tones and panel patterns of Ganni's two-piece nods towards the disco fever of the Seventies. For a surprising twist, keep hair and make-up raw and angelic for we're no longer in a decade of extreme excess.
An oversized magenta dress from Rika teamed with vintage style baggy boots from Gucci, creates a vivid wash of dreamy pink. Add a rust treated gold brooch underneath the long point, classic collar, and you're good to go.
To really channel the retro trend while remaining functional, the trick is small twists of vintage opulence - think socks dusted in glitter, satin shoes and lace gloves - teamed with wearable pieces like knitwear and shirts.
