Although inspired by the majesty of the Mediterranean, Chanel's Cruise 2024/25 collection is not overtly on-the-nose. Yes, it boasts technicolored tweed sets, scuba-inspired jersey and costume jewellery with emblems of the sea, however the Chanel Cruise 2024/25 collection is, at it's core, an encapsulation of the emotions of a seaside jaunt - the freedom, the nostalgia, the femininity.
Embroideries and sequins evoke the sun's rays glittering off a swimming pool's surface; little black dresses with contrasting, flora-adorned bikini straps evoke a day-to-night transition; delicate tulle gloves scattered with rhinestones cast minds back to memories of summer romances.
