The Wardrobe Staples You Need This Spring

Clean and refreshing with a touch of tailoring, this month's wardrobe staples are about back-to-work basics and the finer details when it comes to makeup and jewels. Be it bright eyes or pearl-laden ears, a pop of something luxe can make a world of difference.

Focus is still falling on the eyes but this spring we’re ramping it up with bold, bright hues. If you’re feeling really confident, look towards a high-gloss finish for added oomph.

When in doubt, nothing beats a crisp, clean, earth-tone jacket. As easy to wear as it is to style, focus on a pair of statement earrings and team with dark jeans or black wide-legged trousers.

Even just a touch of irregularity can add a load of style points and here we see a shirt versus earrings print clash. Wacky much? Agreed, but we’re all for it – start small and work your way up.

There’s nothing like a painterly splash of gardenia to lift one’s spirits. Keep it modern with big, bold prints, then keep it modest with a high neck and a floor-sweeping cut.

Leather for spring? Yes, you heard it right. With skins still fuelling the runway in varying forms and shades, opt for paper-thin styles and pair with breezier tops to suit our climes.

Grandmother’s favourite, pearls, are back with aplomb for 2022. MOJEH’s take on the trend considers brazen, bold pieces and forgets small, daintier versions. Wear ‘em loud and proud.

The perennial springtime go-to, white, is a timeless trend that never goes out of style. This season we’re adding a pinch of leafy green to stay even closer to nature.

Until Zoom meetings are a really a thing of the past, jewellery box investments are a must. Think bold styles but stay close to timeless metals - they will carry you perfectly through the years.

Add a splash of springtime to all-black ensembles with statement accessories in feminine hues - bonus points if your earrings match your lipstick.
